Speed Up Your Google Classroom Tasks!

Let me start with a scenario...you teach three sections of the same class. They all have pretty much the same materials and assignments. However - one of those classes is a day behind for whatever reason. You are ready to assign a project to two of the classes, but the third needs an extra day. Wouldn't it be great to create one assignment and have it appear for two of your classes today and the third tomorrow? Wouldn't it also be great to set a different due date for the third class?

Another quick scenario...you want to give a Google Form quiz to all of your classes, but you don't want them to see it until the class starts. Wouldn't it be nice to post one assignment and select a specific time that it will be visible to each class?

Head on over to Google Classroom and give it a try. Create an assignment or a material or an announcement and select the classes you want to send it to.

Next, click the little arrow next to the "Assign" or "Post" button and choose "Schedule". Then you will get a new window that allows you to choose the post date/time AND the due date/time for each class!

Unfortunately, if you want to make a change to the announcement, material, or assignment after you post it, you will still need to make changes within each class separately. They have not added the ability to "change all"...YET! (I have no idea whether they are working on it or not...but you never know!)
